Beyond that, honestly I think this movie has a real chance to go beyond just a heart-warming, family movie.

My sense is, and I'll be surprised if I'm wrong, this movie is going to stick around – it's going to be one of those movies that people continue to watch twenty years from now.

He gave the role of Nick such humor, class and substance that it's hard to imagine anyone else in the part. Though most of the films on Dermot Mulroney's lengthy list of credits are dramas ("Lovely & Amazing," "The Safety of Objects," and "Undertow" to name just a few), he's not exactly a stranger to the romantic comedy genre. In fact, I’ve been to a wedding there before – not in Oxford. Mulroney played the main antagonist of NBC's Crisis, Francis Gibson. His mother, Ellen, was a homemaker and amateur actress originally from Manchester, Iowa, and his father, Michael Mulroney, was a law professor (and amateur racecar driver) at Villanova University School of Law, originally from Elkader, Iowa.He has a sister, Moira, and three brothers, Conor, Kieran (who is also an actor), and Sean.
